Just got a call from this number. No message was left, and the caller ID just said "COATESVILLE PA". When I looked the number up, though, there were *already* reports on several sites, including this one, that it was some sort of spam or hangup call.
Same message - but no google site info - "Hey this is Britney with your Verified now. We've been trying to contact you about your Google business listing. Our records show your Google listing is not properly verified with Google. This can cause customers searching for your services to not be able to find your business online. Call us back at 609-701-7028 so we can quickly check the status of your Google business listing. This will only take a few minutes. That's 609-701-7028."
Caller ID just said "COATESVILLE PA" (the gap in the middle generally suggests it's a spam call -- probably trying to fake out the caller ID software).
PayPal scammers. They get you to receive a passcode on your cell phone and then ask you for it in order to access your account. Don't call this number!
Claims to be "Chelsea" and wants to sell my house. Has my name and address. No idea why I would suddenly be getting such text messages. Always arrive between 10 and 11 a.m.
Guessing that's the best? option -- guy asked for my spouse(!) and when I said "Not available!" the guy said he was trying to find registered voters who took part in the PA Primary. I said that how WE voted was NOT his business -- especially if from X political party and hung up.
It NEVER leaves a message, though I've recently changed my greeting to say "I can't answer because of spammers, so please do leave a message."
